Keeping It Fresh

Today I have such a great, euphoria song for you all by Jus Jack. This song has everything you need for a great trance song-awesome melody, great transitions, and incredible vocals. This does have a Tiesto feel to it, but I really enjoy this song and I was definitely fist pumping in my room and mentally fist pumping in the gym. It is one of those songs that takes you to another state of being which is just the most amazing feel in the world. This is the kind of song that you know will have some wicked remixes and would spend a lot of time being played at clubs and dance venues. This song has this strong festival kind of feel to it, which is always perfect for the summer time jam sessions Jus Jack definitely is a smaller name in the electronic music world, but it s a name that could start to take off, especially if we keep hear anthems like this. Today's instrumental song is by Tiesto and by putting these two songs together, you might hear why I find them having similar styles. This...

Today I have some music for you by a group know as Cheat Codes. This is a perfect song for your summer jams and bright days. This is the kind of song that won't allow you to feel down or low. True to it's name, Cheat Codes is the kind of group that wants you to get to the next level of life and happiness and just all around feel good times as soon as possible and as easily as possible. Which definitely explains why their music is so upbeat and fun and bubbly. This is a kind of shimmering synth pop type of sound, the kind that makes you really feel that joyful and playful nature run through your veins. This song has a huge hook and groovy twist that makes it something catchy and irresistible, and the pristine production of this song makes it something clean cut. This is definitely a song that likes to hang out on the border of synthpop and house music, but either way, it is the kind of song that you could remix to sway either way. The synthesized guitar and keyboards make it so...

Today I have some new music for you by a group that got pretty popular last year. Clean Bandit has a very distinct and signature style that you can pinpoint pretty easily. Clean Bandit loves throwing a lot of older sounds, from past decades, and jazz it up with some modern twists. Honestly, their music and production is something that is just incredible. This is a band that creates music that is infectious and has such a great energy to it that it is impossible to stay still! I think one of the best things about Clean Bandit is the capability they have to produce music. Everything you hear by Clean Bandit has been produced by themselves. The music is all composed and performed by artists within the band and the vocals are often done by people in the band in collaboration with other artists. Clean Bandit is a very unique band because they love to incorporate orchestral sounds into their dance styled music. Often times, they takes samples from music that has already been composed, from a...

Today I have some music for you from a movie that is one of the greatest Bollywood movies of this recent decade. This is a movie that has so much pain, heart and emotion, sadness, and passion and love. My Name Is Khan is one of the most influential Hindi movies of our recent generation for a number of reasons. This is a movie that openly talks about ideas of terrorism and the stereotypes associated with Indian and Middle Eastern people because of terrorism. It talks about the pain and torment that many Muslims have gone through because of religious intolerance and increased profiling in regards to terrorism. This movie also brings to light social responses due to disability. This movie exposes some of the social injustices that people of all groups face and points out that stereotyping and cruelty are things that exist in the social structure of today. But this movie also highlights the power of love and care. It emphasizes the great strength that we can all cling to from family and f...

Today I have some music for you by a solo artist who is possibly one of my favorite singers. Mikky Ekko has a voice that is unlike anyone else and a style that is something so indescribably beautiful. Mikky Ekko sings with passion and emotion that is heard in every word. Everything about his music is so spectacular because of how wonderfully moving it is. The thing about Mikky Ekko is that he is able to pull at the heartstrings and emotions that we don't necessarily like addressing or talking about or experiencing. He knows how to write music and make songs that completely understands us. Every person will be able to relate to at least one of his songs because the subject matter is something that we all understand and experience in our lifetimes. Mikky Ekko is the kind of artist who takes every part of his music seriously. With this song, the lyrics are some of the most moving and beautiful and creatively sweet that I have heard. He knows how to make plays on words, reference thing...

Today I have a song for you by an electronic artist that I am absolutely in love with. Adrian Lux has such an incredible sound to his music. There is always a certain feeling that he evokes with the melodies and harmonies within the song. This song is particular has a darker energy to it, but it is one of those songs that makes you want to explore the darker depths. The first time I heard this song was actually on Teen Wolf. I don't quite remember when they used this song, but I can clearly imagine what kind of scene they would have used this song for. It makes me think of either a dance or when something intense is about to happen. I personally find this an awesome song to workout to, especially running. It has that deep thrum that forces you onwards. Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Oblivion. I have to say, this soundtrack truly is a masterpiece. I highly recommend that you all listen to it at some point because it will blow you away. I hope you enjoy the music ...

Today I have music for you from Puerto Rico by a group know as Da'Zoo. These artists, they know how to turn up the party vibes. This song has everything from a sick beat to hot back and forth between the guy and girl. The lyrics to the song are a little dirty, no doubt about it. But what's wrong with a little bit to spice things up a bit? And seeing as most people don't even understand what the lyrics mean, it's all good! But this song has a really wicked dance beat to it that is so different than your typical Latin style music. For one, this song relies heavily on the use of electronics and synth to make the awesome sounds. This group makes great use of the electric bass and there is this organic fluidity to the way the song sounds. There is definitely repetition but it doesn't feel like it because there is something slightly different in every verse. The lyrics stay the same but the way they are presented is different. For example, the last verse is the only one t...
