Ed Sheeran and August Rush
Okay, I am extremely excited about today's song because it is the newest single "dropped" from Ed Sheeran's new album X (pronounced as multiply) This song is very much in Sheeran's normal range of performing but it also has a different feel to it. It's the midpoint between doing what is comfortable and going out of the box. This song definitely has more R&B and soul to it which I absolutely adore because I find it harder and harder to find this older style of soul. Ed Sheeran actually worked on his new album with Pharrell Williams which is a dynamic duo in my eyes. Both of them have that similar style and groove to their music and they know how to perfect enough groove and pop with a truly soulful vocal performance. What makes this song so different from the rest of his music is that you can clearly tell that it is personal, and it is dark.
