Today I have music for you by one of my favorite rappers of all time. Macklemore seems to get little credit for his ability to create music that is inspiring and wonderful. This song has a beautiful back story to it, one that you can read on Macklemore's website. But the gist of the story has to do with Macklemore realizing the truth of fatherhood. How it comes suddenly, and is a roller coaster of emotions until the day the baby arrives. This song is about what he wants his daughter to remember as she is growing. And it is a constant reminder to us of what we should keep in mind and remember to do. This song has some of the greatest lyrics I have heard from a rapper. And that makes me so happy and proud to be able to hear an artist forego the normal topics of rap and take on things that really matter. Very few artists do that nowadays and it is so heart warming to see. And of course, this song is just a brilliant masterpiece. The lyrics of course give this song so much depth. But t
