RL Grimes and Disclosure
Today I have some music for you by the DJ RL Grimes. Well actually, this is a remix of a popular song right now, but this song changes the entire sound of the original. This song is originally performed by The Weeknd. This is an artist who is known for his slow jams, and songs that are more along the sensual and seductive side of things. His songs are not necessarily very hype and energetic, which is totally okay! But with this remix, we get something that is the total opposite of that. Now this is no a happy electronic song. This falls closer to melodic dubstep in my opinion, but what I like about the remix RL Grime made is that it is very unique and original in its own way. This remix has a greater intensity to it, a sound that is great for the electronic music world. He doesn't necessarily let go of the sexy nature of the original song, but adding a build up and climax to the song takes away some of the sex appeal that this song has.
