One Direction and Cloud Atlas
Today's song is an absolutely beautiful song by the biggest boy band in the world right now. I won't lie, I did have my own not so great opinions about One Direction, but their new album Midnight Memories is absolutely incredible. You can really hear the maturity in their voices and it is quite easy to hear how they have evolved in such a short time. They don't have that typical boy band sound as much and this song exemplifies that amazingly. This song is absolutely poignant and moving and just heart wrenching. The melodies and harmonies in this song adds such depth and experience to the song, making it such a wonderfully brilliant song. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Cloud Atlas. This song has so many emotional movements even though it is a short piece. I have to say, this is one of the best movie soundtracks I have ever heard. Absolutely beautiful.
