I remember when she first started, she had more of this R&B and soul kind of sound. But today, as heard with this song, she has moved over towards more seductive hip hop, the kind of music that you definitely want to get down to. Which is good for her! I think evolution in an artist's style is a testament to their openness of new sounds and innovations within the music world. But anyway, with this song, we don't really get a heavy lyrical base. Most of the lines in this song are repetitive, so it slowly starts to turn into more of a club song.
