Chain Gang of 1974 and Prometheus
Today I have some music for you by the Chain Gang of 1974. This band has a really cool sound to it because there are elements in this song from many different genres. The first thing I am going to focus on is the vocals. The vocals in this song are pretty impressive because they are deep but have a great range to it. Actually, one of my favorite parts in this song occurs at around 1:49 and onward when Kamtin Mohager sings and almost shouts out at a higher pitch. It sounds so good because the electronic layering he puts on it makes the note echo and it sounds absolutely amazing. That whole section of the verse just sounds so incredible because he sings it with so much passion and strength and the slight raise in his voice sounds impeccable. And then he ends it with this wild and gritty scream which is absolutely perfect! His voice in general is fuzzed out in this song which doesn't sound bad at all.
