Dean & Anderson. Paak and Gorila
Today I have some music from you by an artist and producer out of South Korea. Dean is an alternative R&B singer who really brings a great twist to his sound. What I love about Dean is that his music takes on a sound that is very different from what we normally hear from South Korea. A lot of their music is some kind of pop electronic or rap, however,d with Dean we get something that is more along the lines of R&B and chillhop. His music has a jazzy flavor to it and takes on more of that modern version of the classic style. There is a really nice balance of that "chill" vibe with this song. It isn't too overpowering over the other R&B and jazz elements but doesn't fall so far into the background that this becomes a straight jazz piece. That balance helps give this song a nice lounge sound that is great to jam out to. This is the kind of song I can imagine being played at a fun but laid back bar or club.
