Two Door Cinema Club and Hancock
Today I have some music for you by one of the greatest and most fun indie bands of all time! Two Door Cinema Club is a band that is really well known in teh world of indie music, and for good reason. Something that makes this band so great is that they don't define themselves to living in certain boxes. They don't necessarily stay within the boundaries of the subgenres of indie music. They can go indie rock, dance pop, punk revival, just to name a few. This song is one of my favorites by them, and I would like to think that it falls more in the indie pop and dance category. This song does have a little bit of an older, more retro kind of sound. There are elements of disco that we can hear in the syncopation and guitar This song has this ear-worming sleekness to it, and is something we just cannot get out of our heads.
