The Colourist and Beasts Of The Southern Wild
Today I have some music for you by the band known as The Colourist. This is a band that definitely stays out of the limelight, but I was so incredibly excited to hear their music being recognized. Kanye West recently tweeted about this song in particular and pretty much said that this song deserves a Grammy. And who am I to disagree with Kanye West? But in all honesty, I can definitely see where he is coming from. The Colourist is one of the best indie rock bands I have heard in a long time. Most of the bands that people listen to these days fall under the alternative side. At least, a lot of the big bands out there are alternative. But The Colourist is a band that really revels in their indie sound and makes it sound absolutely phenomenal. This is the kind of indie band that really makes you want to dance.
