Keeping It Fresh

Today's song is by the artist known as Active Child. This is probably one of the most unique things I have heard. I have a feeling a lot of you are going to feel the same way because this is just so different and I love that! This group relies very heavily on the harp which is unlike any other group I have ever heard. Not only do they use a harp, but the vocals take on a very soft but strong tone. There are points in the song when the singer hits his high notes and it is absolutely beautiful! Definitely a group worth looking into much deeper. Today's instrumental song is from the movie The Hobbit. This has a very similar yet different sound than the music of the Lord of the Rings. Today is Christmas! So to those of you who celebrate, Merry Christmas! Otherwise, Happy Holidays! I thought it would be nice to keep in spirit of the holidays and especially this holiday. Michael Buble's album for the season is probably one of the best things he has because everything is so perfect. Just the right amount of big band, modernism, and holiday spirit.
