Fleet Foxes and Water For Elephants
Today I have music for you by Fleet Foxes. This song is a really nice song to listen to while doing something relaxing or easy going. I hadn't heard this song until recently but I fell in love with it. Everything about this song is so nice to listen to and it is very different from a lot of the folk music we hear today. This is folk music that has a slightly darker undertone to it, but while this song does have a little bit of that darkness, it has these brighter spots which adds so much to the song. I love the vocals of this song. The first thing we hear is the vocals of the lead singer and his voice has a very nice twang to it. It is not a heavy Southern twang, but is a slight trace that gives this song a folksy sound. The harmonies in this song are absolutely wonderful as well. There are three and four part harmonies in this song and all of them are flawlessly executed. This song has a sound that is both urban and rustic at the same time. I love this so much about the band.
