Active Child and The Hobbit
Today's song is by the artist known as Active Child. This is probably one of the most unique things I have heard. I have a feeling a lot of you are going to feel the same way because this is just so different and I love that! This group relies very heavily on the harp which is unlike any other group I have ever heard. Not only do they use a harp, but the vocals take on a very soft but strong tone. There are points in the song when the singer hits his high notes and it is absolutely beautiful! For a band like Active Child, the melody of the song is everything. The lyrics do matter of course, but this is a song that is created for us to feel. The melody and harmonies and blending of the two is what really makes us feel things, and that is what makes Active Child so spectacular.
