Real Estate and The Blue Umbrella
Today's song is by an indie band out of New Jersey called Real Estate. This band makes everything seem so effortless. The ease with which they weave simple melodies with intricate guitar work is just incredible and so appealing. This song has this interesting calming effect but also has this psychedelic element in the sense that it can transport you to a different place. This song takes me to one of two places, one being walking on a beach on a cloudy day and another of just sitting in a coffee shop on a gloomy day with something warm to drink. But those kind of mental feelings are kind of what you get. Today's instrumental song is from the Pixar short, The Blue Umbrella. This is just a very sweet song and I think its quite cute.
