Today I have some music for you that comes from the land of musicals and interesting story lines-India. This song is from the musical play called Bombay Dreams. While this is performed mainly in London and New York, the music was composed by some of the greats of Bollywood. This style of song is called a qawwali. This kind of song is my favorite because there is a great richness of culture. In songs like this, we get a mix of Sufi music and Indian music. This song is used in weddings which you can probably grasp from the title of the video. But this is not what most people imagine a wedding song to sound like.
