Today I have a really incredible song for you by English band, Bombay Bicycle Club. There is such a multitude of things that I absolutely love about this song. From the beginning, they seamlessly work in a classic Bollywood song and even mold the chorus around the sound of the Bollywood song. And then after the first chorus, the band plays the Bollywood theme with modern Western instruments (guitar). Second, it has Bollywood! The great chemistry between this English and Western sound with a Bollywood style video and theme create a beautiful masterpiece that brings the classic and modern together. This is truly and indie song gone Indian which is the best play with words ever! The overall feel (no pun intended) of the song is a really happy one and I love the sound of the chorus because it evokes bright emotions and I personally felt the need to dance and sway a little to this song.
