Loreen and Datsik
Both of today's songs were suggested by a good friend of mine, and I decided to post them! The first song is by Swedish artist by the name Loreen. Her voice is unique-it has an edgy sound like P!nk but it is also powerful with a pop sound like Jessie J. Loreen has a really good eurodance vibe to her music. I mean this is one of those songs that is clearly meant for those European and underground clubs. What is cool about this song is that it has this interesting dubstep twist to the song. Most of it is very house and electronica related, but there are moments when this song has dubstep influences. I like it though because it adds more depth and complexity to the song. If we were to hear this on its own, the song would sound like any other run of the mill dance song. But that dubstep flair really makes this song come together in a way that is different and even more energetic. Loreen does have quite the set of vocals to her, and she sings strongly.
