Halsey and Florence + The Machine
Today I have some really incredible music for you by an artist who has recently started to push through the ranks. Halsey has had one or two songs really take off since her debut, but this song has got to be my absolute favorite. She wrote and composed this song for the new movie The Huntsman, and if you have seen the first installment, you know that the music has to match the movie. And of course, it has been done again with Halsey this time bringing a sense of power and struggle and the hunger for the world. I love how sharp and powerful this song is, one that really utilizes the power of an orchestra over the common use of synths and electronic sounds. This is a song that relies on the strength and size and sheer power of sound that and orchestra can bring, something that I can feel through my soul. This track has such a dark vibe to it, something that clearly rings of having deeper meaning, more than just her thoughts on the music industry. That darkness is perfectly representative
