My Chemical Romance and Lone Survivor
Today, I am posting the "last" song by one of the greatest emo/punk/hard rock bands of the age-My Chemical Romance. What I love about this song is that it retains their punk sound while also being melancholy. This song is like the farewell from the band, and as lead singer Gerard Way put it, a eulogy for the band. I really like what they did with this video because it clearly paints a picture of the dichotomy that is happening. There is so much celebration and happiness for what MCR has done and produced, but also sadness because they have finished. But true to their nature, this song is absolutely amazing. Today's instrumental song is from the movie Lone Survivor. While I have not seen this movie, I have only heard the greatest things about this movie and I can't wait to see it.
