Today I have music for you by the one and only Kanye West. Now before things get a little out of control, the reason I am posting a song by one of the biggest rap giants of our time, is because of how incredible this song is. The first time I heard this song, I was legitimately floored by how powerful the lyrics are. This song is one that is so powerful in its simplicity. There are no big beats, energetic synths, or deep bass. This is a song that hinges on the sound of the gospel. This is a song that weaves organs, gospel choir, and sermon into a song that is nothing short of a masterpiece. Kanye West and Chance the Rapper have created something that is deep to the core, full of rich commentary and incredibly clever lyrics. What I find interesting is that Kanye West takes a back seat in this song. We don't hear much from him at all throughout the song, leaving most of the rap components to Chance the Rapper. In this way, Kanye West takes on this persona of an omniscient viewer. He
