DJ A.Sen & DJ Amann and Edward Maya

Today I have a very interesting song for you. This is a remixed version of a Bollywood song and I can tell you that I like this version a lot. Now I am going to say now that I am not condoning nor rejecting the use of hookah. You do what you need to. Now, this song has been very well remixed. It retains a lot of the original content of the song. If you go listen to the original version you can definitely hear what stayed the same and what was changed. For example, this remixed version is faster and maintains the same beat throughout. The original song has a period of time in which the beat is slowed down and it kind of breaks the song a bit. From the get go we get that Eastern feel while also clearly hearing the more European electronic influences. Especially the Romanian/Israeli/Middle Eastern style of electronic music. The way the the synth is done has that sound, that very Edward Maya sound. Honestly, I love that so much! Sometimes I find it way better than some of the electronic mu

Jupiter Rising and Capital Cities

Today I have music for you by a duo known as Jupiter Rising. This song is definitely on the older side of the newer style of pop music but it still has that really appealing sound that we all like. I think what makes this song different from a lot of others is that it has that banter between the two singers that is of the flirty nature. Not to mention the fact that both of these singers have really good voices as well. These are vocals that definitely sound amazing with this electro style. This isn't like the typical house or electro songs and follows more on the pop side. The melody and instrumentation of this song reminds me of late 90s and early 2000s songs. It has a heavy use of keyboards, synths, and drums. It is one of those songs that is good for clubbing to and can always be a go to song for any kind of dance party. This song has been called a ready made synth beat which I can agree with. There isn't much remixing needed for it to be a good addition to a club's play

The 1975 & The Odd Life Of Timothy Green

Today I have music for you by a really great indie band that I haven't posted about in a long time called The 1975. I have yet to hear a song by this band that I do not like. There is an extremely unique sound to this band from the vocals the instrumentation. I feel like the vocals give a clear picture as to why they sound so unique. Many times with foreign singers, the accents all sound the same when singing. But what makes this band so unique and original and defined is the fact that Matt Healy sings and maintains his accent. You can clearly hear the English accent when he sings and I find it perfectly beautiful and cute. There is a little bit of individuality, maturity, sophistication, and cheekiness in the way he sings and that accent brings forward a very special sound. There is something that Matt Healy does to make every song have either an ethereal or haunting sound to it simply because of his voice. This is a voice I never get tired of because it is so refreshingly differe
