SG Lewis & Gallant and Flume
Today I have some music for you by one of the hottest underground producers in the European scene, SG Lewis. What is kind of ironic, is that I stumbled upon this particular producer because of the featured vocalist on this song. Gallant is the vocal powerhouse of the song, and I recently went on a Gallant binge which turned up this song. But I am honestly really glad that I ended up getting to hear this song because it is pretty stunning. This is the kind of music for all the chill music heads out there, the ones who are looking for something to just jam out to or maybe take with them to more of a club scene. Because of Gallant's collaboration, there is an R&B flavor added to this song. And thankfully enough, SG Lewis does a great job of giving the song enough funk so that Gallant has wiggle room to experiment and express his own vocal style.Gallant and SG Lewis really compliment each other and I like the way each artist has a respect for the other that is heard in the song.
