The Lonely Island
Today I have some music for you by one of the best parody/satire/hilarious groups ever. The Lonely Island has made it to the top because of their ridiculously funny songs. This group includes Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. For those of you who don't know, these three guys were a huge part of SNL for the better part of a decade. These guys were the ones in charge of all the SNL Digital Shorts that we all love watching over and over again on YouTube. While Andy Samberg is the one who is physically featured more, the other two took a huge lead in writing the words and creating the actual songs. What I love about The Lonely Island is that they have been doing this since high school. They have been together for that long of a time and have turned something they did for fun, into something that we all love and appreciate and laugh at.
