Today's song of the day is by a small Australian group called Strange Talk. They sound like a mix of Phoenix, The Strokes, Foster the People, and Fun. combined. Its quite great! This is their first single ever and I really liked it. Not only is the song really catchy and pretty dancy, but the music video is really cool too. I think this song is really well balanced between all the instruments and the beat is really pumped and energetic! Hopefully you will all like it! And if you have not heard of any of the other four bands, I strongly recommend that you go listen to them because they are so amazing! Strange Talk makes really good use of that disco and funk feel that we get with keyboards and such. This song does not really lose momentum at all which is so awesome. Today I have music for you by one of my favorite solo artists ever, Michael Buble. I am keeping this post a little bit shorter because I feel like everything that can be said about Michael Buble is in the way he sings. He sings with energy and passion, and his songs are so vivacious. This song is one of those really fun ones that takes a modern twist on big band and swing. What I love about this godsend is that he is talented not only in the singing department, but in performing as well. He knows how to entertain while he sings and he also knows how to effectively make some groovy music. When you listen to music like this, you can't help but want to get up and dance or sway and snap. This is one of those songs that really gets you on your feet and for good reason. Michael Buble sings this song with so much energy and the tune in general is very fun.
