Keeping It Fresh

Today I have some really funky music for you. This song is by an artist who goes by the name Kennedy. Now this is a guy who really brings the 80's disco era back to life. I think his music is a great adaption of modern electronic music and funky disco. I mean you can tell from the get go that this has quite the 80's influence in it. The music in this song is very heavy on the disco and funk era, especially with the synth work and keyboards. It is so weird to remember that the musician, Jack Kennedy, was the guitarist for the Silversun Pickups. It is quite the transition from that genre of music to this one, but I have to say that Kennedy did a phenomenal job of it. This song seems to have little or no influence from his time with the Silversun Pickups. In fact, this song is so incredibly electronic and eclectic. I know that this is a style that is really starting to gain popularity nowadays, but this song came out long before this newfound love of disco. This song is full of up
