Today I have music for you by a lesser known electronic duo called The Knocks. I recently heard this song by them and completely fell in love. This song is such a great dance song and is one that you can just chill to. There are points in the song when the extra harmonies and melodies cease, and just a single repeating rhythm is heard. Not only is this sound great, but it serves as the backbone of the song. It is probably most prominently heard at 2:22. I think you will get what I mean as this sound being the backbone. It serves throughout the whole song and everything else layers on top. Which brings me to another great thing about this song! The Knocks very smoothly layer on the sounds one by one until it becomes the complete sound that they want us to hear.
