Barcelona and Oblivion
Today I have some music for you by a trio that make up a band I am absolutely in love with. Barcelona is one of those underground bands that doesn't necessarily fit the stereotype of what a "band" is supposed to sound like. I mean some people would call them and indie rock band, but even that is not necessarily the most accurate description of Barcelona's sound. See, a lot of their music tends to follow the lines of synth pop and indie pop and a more transcendent kind of sound. That is actually one of my favorite things about Barcelona. Their music has a sound that can take you to a different state of being, a different state of thinking and feeling. And that is something so special and amazing. Barcelona's vocals usually tend to be more vulnerable and gentle and soft. There is a sense of passion and longing and even a little bit of sensuality.
