This song is such a well-done piece, one that takes a simple trick and turns it into something we cannot get enough of. This song features crisper vocals interspersed with a chorus that has longer moments and a smoother flow. This song is an interesting mix of being a dance-pop song while also being a bit melancholy. Sky Ferreira sings the chorus with sullen undertones and the sound of wistful hope permeates the entire song. There is a twinkly electronic sound to the song which is almost a contrast to the gloomier, sexier vocals of Sky Ferreira. That mix of emotions felt throughout the song is exactly what the lyrics are describing, and I love how the sound reflects that roller coaster. Overall, though, the song has this overcast chill
