Today I have some R&B for you! This song is by Roy Wood$ and features the work of Drake. Now, I know Drake is a big name. Scratch that. Drake is a HUGE name. And if you don't know who he is, that is not a big deal! His music is for some people and not others. But Roy Wood$ is definitely a lesser known name. And that is one of the things I really love about R&B and rap music. A lot of these songs are by lesser known artists and feature the work of more well known artists. This balance is really critical in my opinion. When the more underground artists is the main feature, they are the ones who get more of the spotlight. We get to hear more of their underground sound and get a taste of what their musical style is like. And then the inclusion of the bigger artist is a great way to promote and support the small artist.
