Jupiter Rising and Capital Cities

Today I have music for you by a duo known as Jupiter Rising. This song is definitely on the older side of the newer style of pop music but it still has that really appealing sound that we all like. I think what makes this song different from a lot of others is that it has that banter between the two singers that is of the flirty nature. Not to mention the fact that both of these singers have really good voices as well. These are vocals that definitely sound amazing with this electro style. This isn't like the typical house or electro songs and follows more on the pop side. The melody and instrumentation of this song reminds me of late 90s and early 2000s songs. It has a heavy use of keyboards, synths, and drums. It is one of those songs that is good for clubbing to and can always be a go to song for any kind of dance party. This song has been called a ready made synth beat which I can agree with. There isn't much remixing needed for it to be a good addition to a club's playlist. This song is just so damn catchy! It is a repetitive song when it comes to the beat, but the vocal bantering makes it more dynamic and keeps it more shaken up. This really is a good dance song because it has the ability to be an energetic dance song or it can be a song that is just for you and your significant other. There is something totally chill about this song. It isn't one of those that you sit there and fist pump and just jump around to. You can actually dance to this. And while sometimes it is nice to listen to one of those songs that gets your blood and adrenaline running, this song has a softer and calmer feel to it. However, it still has this energy that keeps you wanting to hear more. Sometimes I think the bantering between the two is really cute. I know when I find a guy I want to be able to banter back and forth and maybe even have a battle of wits. When you throw something like that together with a wicked beat and a solidly smooth melody, you can't go wrong! Today's instrumental song is by Capital Cities. This is a really cool band because of how unique their music is, especially in terms of lyrics. This band has an awesome way of making every song sound upbeat and positive. Or at least almost every song. This one in particular starts out softer but then picks up to have a really great sound to it!
