Bombay Dreams and Singh Is King

Today I have some music for you that comes from the land of musicals and interesting story lines-India. This song is from the musical play called Bombay Dreams. While this is performed mainly in London and New York, the music was composed by some of the greats of Bollywood. This style of song is called a qawwali. This kind of song is my favorite because there is a great richness of culture. In songs like this, we get a mix of Sufi music and Indian music. This song is used in weddings which you can probably grasp from the title of the video. But this is not what most people imagine a wedding song to sound like. This song has this really nice energy and has a faster beat than the conventional wedding song. Even for Indian weddings, this song has a great pace to keep it lively but lovely. One of the things that makes this song what it is, is the male vocals. The vocals in this song are absolutely beautiful. The way Sukhwinder Singh sings this song is absolutely incredible. He sings this song with so much passion and love and you can tell that he really feels what the song is saying. He feels the idea of love and he feels the joy and contentment that comes with being in love. But the way he sings, there is an infectious energy and fun to this song. He is able to add to so many different feelings to this song and give it an extra burst of all the warm feelings that you would think comes with a wedding. Now when we get to the music, it gets quite exciting. The music in this song is completely phenomenal. It is not too fast and is not too slow, but has a great energy that makes you want to get up and dance. The beat is absolutely amazing and is so much fun. The song starts out a little slower in the traditional way, but it does seem to speed up and take on a very vivacious feel to it. As the song progresses we get a little bit more of the percussion added until we get the full use of percussion. The tabla is an essential to this song as well as the tambourine because they are the backbone of the beat and give the basis for all the singers. The way all the singers come together to sing just adds more to the beauty. I can't get enough of this song because everything about it is so perfect. The different vocalists add their own flair to it and it is even better that they are some of the biggest names in Bollywood. Every voice is recognizable and this adds this comfort to the song. This song has a feeling that is almost like freedom and liberation. There is this very bright feel that makes you want to put your face towards the sun and smile and dance and spin. It is one of those songs that makes you feel good inside. Today's instrumental song is from another Bollywood movie called Singh Is King. This movie is actually quite good because it is funny and has a good plot while also having songs that don't make me want look away in revulsion. This song is my favorite from the movie because it has this beautiful melody feel to it.
