DJ A.Sen & DJ Amann and Edward Maya

Today I have a very interesting song for you. This is a remixed version of a Bollywood song and I can tell you that I like this version a lot. Now I am going to say now that I am not condoning nor rejecting the use of hookah. You do what you need to. Now, this song has been very well remixed. It retains a lot of the original content of the song. If you go listen to the original version you can definitely hear what stayed the same and what was changed. For example, this remixed version is faster and maintains the same beat throughout. The original song has a period of time in which the beat is slowed down and it kind of breaks the song a bit. From the get go we get that Eastern feel while also clearly hearing the more European electronic influences. Especially the Romanian/Israeli/Middle Eastern style of electronic music. The way the the synth work is done has that Middle Eastern and Eurodance sound, that very Edward Maya sound. Honestly, I love that so much! Sometimes I find it way better than some of the electronic music we hear nowadays. As far as Bollywood songs go, this is a little out of the normal comfort zone. I like the way they made this more of an Indian electronic song than trying to Westernize the sound. That in itself takes a lot of skill and a little bit of risk. It is not that easy to remix a song like this and DJ A.Sen and DJ Amann did a fantastic job of it. There is a really good energy to this song and a very wicked trance spin on the song. What I love about this song is that trance feel to it because the content of the song matches perfectly. Generally, when you hear things about a hookah bar your mind doesn't go to things like dubstep or pop music. It tends to stray towards things like trance and psychedelic music which this remix provides. Now when we talk about the vocals of the song, they have a really great balance with the music. The music doesn't overtake the vocals and vice versa. This is very important to a song like this because when one element drowns out the other, you lose that idea of going to a different state of mind. Your brain focuses more on that one thing that keeps getting covered up. This is also a great song to dance to. I can imagine this song being played in a club, or at least an instrumental version if they are pickier about the language. It has the club beat and the synth work that makes it perfect for dancing. All those low key clubs would totally play a song like this because it fits splendidly. This is a song that emulates that Eastern European sound, the kind of sound that we get with a lot of Israeli or Persian musicians. I love this niche kind of sound because of how fun it is! This is a song that literally gets you up and jamming. The energy is completely infectious and the charisma is perfect. Nothing about this song feels overwhelming nor overdone. This seriously is just a great song. Today's instrumental song is by Edward Maya. His style is one that I love and adore. When it comes to electronic music, this kind of music is my favorite. I have no way to define it specifically, but that Eastern and more mysterious sound is what entrances and captures me into the song. This is my absolute favorite song by Edward Maya, and I think this song is able to show why. There is an incredible amount of energy , and this need to dance washes over you. You can't help but get excited when you listen to this song. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
