R3hab & Dyro and JETFIRE & Happy Enemies

Today I have some good, solid electronic house music for you. In particular, I have some Dutch house for you, by the one and only Afrojack. What is Dutch house you ask? In a nutshell, Dirty Dutch is that electronic music style that incorporates a lot of Latin beats and rhythms, with less emphasis on the bass and high pitched synths. Actually when you listen to Dutch house, we don't really hear that high pitched and squeaky synth that we get from other genres. Which I am not complaining about because that gets to be way too much for me sometimes. But this song is actually the remix done by R3hab, another Dutch house artist, and Dyro. This remix is a fast paced, action packed song. I mean this is the kind of song that can keep you pumped up for hours, especially when on the workout grind. This is actually on my workout playlist because if is so full of energy and has that relentless thump that makes it nice and rhythmic. R3hab is an artist who has dabbled in different styles of music, and has done so successfully, which is why it is no surprise that he has been able to pull off such a hard house sound. This is super nice because this is the kind of music R3hab used to produce, so I guess this is kind of like throwback Thursday. Now Dyro is also a harder, more heavy EDM kind of artist. He tends to dabble more in the house and drum n bass kind of music world. Which is why the two of them have remixed this song so incredibly well! You take the parts of them that produce more intense and nasty house, and viola, we get something like this. This song definitely has a dirtiness to it that is absolutely amazing. R3hab and Dyro have taken the original song and turned it into more of an epic bad ass kind of song, like the anthem for an action sequence or something. The original song has more of a club and festival kind of sound, but the remix is something that is much deeper and has a different vibe completely. This remix is more intense and concentrated, with a lot more emphasis on the way the synths are layered and the power with which they are produced. This hard-hitting house is something that is pulled off so well by all three DJ's, which is why this remix works so well. I have to give it to R3hab and Dyro though, for turning the entire feel of the song into something that makes me want to car race. I mean the energy is contagious and infectious, and I love it. Today's instrumental song is by Jetfire & Happy Enemies. Now this is actually the first song I ever heard by them and it knocked my socks off. I mean this song is good. Really good. The buildup is completely solid, the drop a wonderfully syncopated and shuffle worthy mix, and the drum beats are pretty damn awesome. I love how the background has crowd chanting and military-esque drumming. This is a different kind of song, but I really like it. The energy is awesome, full of bad assery and intimidation. Like a warrior's theme. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
