No Way Out and Disclosure

Today I have some music for you that is an absolute earworm. This song is by an electronic producer by the name No Way Back, a producer I hadn't heard of till very recent. First time I heard this song, I could not stop jamming out. Now the best thing about this song is how completely raw it is and how this is straight up house. As in pure house music, sounds that we forget exist since music gets muddled up. Don't get me wrong, I love it when EDM genres collide and create wicked song. But every once in a while it is nice to go back to the basics and get that sweet sound of true house. This song is actually a twist taken on a Mariah Carey song, which I had no idea about. But I won't lie, I think this rework sounds pretty darn awesome and is definitely not shy of being groovy. The song begins with a steady percussion loop, which then gives way to more structured and subtle piano beats. This all builds up into the strong powerhouse vocals of Mariah Carey while getting thrown into a smooth house melody. This song has got that smooth groove to it, the one that makes this such an ideal summer anthem. And of course it is a fantastic song to shuffle and dance to so there is a bonus. Mariah Carey's voice is actually perfect for the style of music that No Way Back is going for here. Now of course the producer works around the original song, but this is just so perfectly integrated! No Way Back has done a fantastic job of making this song a mellow party starter, infusing piano progressions with some groovy house melodies. This track has become a soulful, energy filled track that captures that 90s kind of vibe. No Way Out is one of the freshest DJs out there because he combines 90s R&B tunes with today's electronic music scene. Now as someone who is definitely tracking some of the freshest artists out there, I can definitely say that this is something super different and honestly as sweet as the title suggests. No Way Out is a DJ we all need to be watching out for because he is already starting to light the charts on fire. Today's instrumental song is by Disclosure, one of the truest artists in house music. They are also a very popular name in the European dance scene, which is something that is pretty much expected with their style of music. But Disclosure does an awesome job of keeping to their house repertoire, always tweaking and building on their sound, but still having that particular house vibe that makes their music distinct. They are touring this season, so if you have a chance to go see them, I highly encourage it. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
