Morgan Page and Borgeous

Today I have some really fun music for you guys. Tonight was the night I finally got to see Morgan Page. After years, I finally got to see one of my DJ idols and house gods. And of course, it was one hell of a show! He played his own music, remixes, and did some improvised work as well, and nailed it every time! He played my favorites, played the songs that have become Morgan Page anthems, and just killed it with everything he played. It was so nice to be able to go to a concert after so long, and Morgan Page was possibly one of the best shows to go to for that rejuvenation. So naturally, I have to have one of his songs as a musical choice. This song is one that is newer, but is also a fantastically good one. One of the great things about Morgan Page is that a lot of his music features vocalists, which is something I really enjoy. I have noticed that the EDM world has some of the best vocalists, and those vocals are so hard to find outside of the genre. This song is a really great one, of course with exorbitant amounts of energy, but not because of the bass drop. This song has energy throughout the entire song, the kind of energy that gets you jumping up and down. I mean Morgan Page is the kind of guy who wants to make you get on your feet and go wild and have a fabulous time. And this song does give us that. It is a classic example of how well club music and the electronic music world go hand in hand. This song is the kind of song that not only sends a great message, but gets you in that really happy state of mind. It takes you to that place where all you want to do is close your eyes, smile, and dance like no one is watching. I am seriously still in concert shock because of how fantastic the show was. This song was played as a part of the set, and it definitely sounded incredible. You could feel the entire crowd get super energized and hyped up. Jonathan Mendelsohn provides the vocals for this song, and not going to lie, they sound really really good. He has a great voice, and is proved by the fact that he has worked with so many different DJs and such. But this song is just so much fun and is great for a rave in your room or for when you go to the club. Today's second song is by the other headliner, Borgeous. This is an artist that really favors the drop to the melody. Which is why Borgeous and Morgan Page work so well together! The former is great with creating those heavy drops, and the latter knows how to easily weave a melody and harmony that can sew themselves onto the bass and the bass drop. This song is so damn energetic and hyped up. Borgeous builds up to this massive drop that a parachute couldn't save you from it. That is something I really have to give him credit for. The drops are so on point. And the rhythm of the melody changes every time while the actual beat remains constant. I don't know how he does it, but that kind of clash actually makes the song even better. This song actually starts out a lot slower, so not only do you have a build up to the drop, but the song itself builds up. All in all, just wicked beyond belief. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
