Alina Baraz & The Galimatias and J. Rabbit
Today marks the start of one of the biggest music festivals in the South. Austin City Limits had its kickoff today, and boy did the lineup make me giddy! There are a lot of good, lesser known artists here for ACL weekend, and I love that. This song is actually by one of the bands showcased tonight, Alina Baraz & the Galimatias. I first heard of them when it was announced they would be going to ACL. I was not sure if I would be a fan of them, especially because my eyes were focused on the fact that George Ezra was here. I was quite impressed when I first heard their music, and this song in particular. This is a group that has so much to offer in terms of having a really cool sound. Alina Baraz and the Galimatias has a sound that they create on their own, one that is very similar to artists like Flume or any other kind of chillstep group. I had no idea they were and electronic kind of dance group! One thing I cannot deny, is that the vocals in this song are extremely sexy. This whole song kind of has seductive written all over it, but also considering who we are, there is very little nasty in here. But this song utilizes synths really well, turning it into both a harmonizing key and the percussion key. The female vocals are slowly faded back into the background to serve as a transition and a good way to introduced the new music. They lyrics and tone of the song is something that is completely seductive and a little bit fun and a little bit more turnt. Which is alright with me! You should take one with him! Anywyas, moving Bones, today's instrumental song is quite interesting. This is a song that I just could not get out of my head, so I thought it would be fun to post. There is a lot of energy and fun stuff within all my parties. Today;s instrumental sons is by J Rabbit. No one really knows about him, and his most popular song is one that is pretty old. Regardless, this is a really fun one. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
