2 States and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Today I have a song for you that comes from the wonderful world of Bollywood music. Now I know I have posted a variety of songs in the past regarding Bollywood, but this song is very different from most of the styles I have posted. See, this is a song that is all about the sadness of to being able to be with the one you love. And it doesn't seem that way because of how beautiful and almost light the song is. But in a way, the melody of the song is something that is reminiscent of the wonderful moments, the ones that you will always remember. Hindi lyrics are some of the most beautiful I have ever heard. When you understand what the song is saying, or go look up lyrics, there is this indescribable sense of truly loving someone. The words express the love for another in the most poetic way possible. One thing I have noticed about Indian songs in general, is that they tend to use the sun and moon as focal points for these kinds of songs. The Sun represents one in the pair, while the other is the moon. And this contrast between sun and moon is often times significant of the differences between the leads. But as we go back to the song, there are a couple of things that I really wanted to look at. For example, this is another instance in which we are really starting to hear the emergence of the acoustic guitar. Normally, guitar usage in this manner is uncommon in Indian music, but the playback singer Mohan Kanan is one who really likes to bring his guitar up and start picking at notes. This is a Bollywood song that also lacks that pumped up energy in favor of something that is more calming and thought provoking. The whole songs maintains this sunny, positive, and overall cozy nature and sound. Even the main chorus has that sweetness, that gentle warmth that makes you want to bask in the world around you. The male voice in this song is also one that is very comforting. It is a deeper and slightly rougher sound, but something about it makes it a welcoming and warming voice. Mohan Kanan has a voice with the power to transform you and make you really feel and understand the song. The mix they have been adding, as bits and pieces and stuff And then of course the female vocalist is splendid. Yashita has a voice that is a little bit higher pitched, but it is so smooth and gentle. She sings with power and conviction in her voice, and that makes the song have an entirely different sound. But the way she sings the phrases is with this light and soothing voice. In fact, the entirety of this song is just so soothing and warming and wonderful. Today was a beautiful and sunny day, and the weather was simply perfect. The right temperature, enough space, and close proximity to classes. I listened to this song on the way back from class, and I have to say it was a fantastic decision to really listen to the song. This is the kind of song that changes the way you view things. All the little details about the world are sharp and in clear focus. And while the world is in more focus, we begin to become a little bit more a part of the world around us. When I listen to this song, I can't help but smile because it makes me think that there are better days to come later. I smile because I feel attuned to the world now, and all of its glory.  The tone and mood of this song wants you to brutal. Now with this dance, we need it to be nice and fluid and wonderful. You deserve a wonderful night out and please feel better! Today's instrumental song is my favorite from a this movie! This is another song about the one you love. All of these Bollywood songs are just killing it in terms of creating soulful and beautiful and moving songs. These are all songs that I think hold great merit. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
