For The Foxes and Jobs

Today I have music for you by the group known as For The Foxes. This song is one of those awesome feel good songs, the kind that you can listen to at anytime and the one that makes you want to feel free. I don't know, there is something about this song that is both calming and driving at the same time. The soft drum and guitar work is very soothing, but the stylization of the melodies and harmonies excites you with the prospect of freedom. This song gives that feeling of wanting to be free, running around at night with friends and doing whatever it is you want to do. This song is seriously so chill and relaxing that I feel so at ease when listening to it. The vocals are extremely nice because there is this soothing and water like nature to the voice that makes it just flow over the ears and over you. The vocals are just so nice to listen to! This song deosn't really have a climax with the instrumentals, but the vocals do a good job of taking care of that. It changes from a deeper calm to a higher pitched energy. During that high pitched moment is when I feel that idea of freedom and during the lower pitched parts and verses, I feel the fluidity and preparation of doing what I want. The chorus melodies with the synth and guitar is very nice and evokes the feeling of vivacity and it makes you let everything else go. When I listen to this song, it is so hard for me to think about anything else other than the song itself. Part of me really likes the fact that the bass guitar makes that underlying sound rather than the drums. Most songs use the drums for the source of that heavy bass feel, but in this case, For The Foxes relies on the bass guitar. The lack of a main electric guitar is also something unique. For the majority of the melodies, a synth keyboard seems to the instrument of choice. This is also something that is not usually done with a song like this. That is what makes this so special. There is a unique nature to the song and the band and it makes you feel really good in your mind and soul. Today's instrumental song is a more uplifting piece from the movie Jobs. I haven't seen this movie and have not heard much about it, so when I do see it, I will definitely inform you of my opinion. But this song is really good. This song effectively captures the idea of inspiration but does so in a way that it doesn't seem like the typical epic song that we hear from action movies. I mean every action movie has that one epic inspirational theme that is heavy with brass and drums, but this song is much more different. This song captures the inspirational nature of innovative ideas through the use of vibrant string work. One thing I have found that the strings capture better than any other instrument group is the way they can make a song sound like our feelings. The strings is the only group that could capture the idea of brilliant innovation in the way that we wold feel it. Beautiful! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
