TIesto and Coyote Kisses

Today's song is a great one by Tiesto! Of course, being Tiesto, this is a great dance song with a really catchy hook. And I love the vocalist used for this song. This one has so much energy and its out of control! Its freaking fantastic! I love how once the chorus is done the first time there is this underlying fuzzy sound to support the vocals the second time the chorus comes around. This song definitely showcases the house style diversion Tiesto made a few years back. The thing about Tiesto is that while he is known mainly as a trance artist, he is very capable of delving into other subgenres of electronic music. Tiesto is also an artist who really enjoys vocal performances as part of his music. And I think that is one of the best things about him. He gives the songs a human touch when there is clearly a lack thereof. With vocals, we get that passion and energy that only comes from someone purging their soul into the music. Tiesto is able to make his songs something that has living, breathing components and makes the song alive. Its just perfect in every way. Today's instrumental song is a new one by Coyote Kisses. This song does something cool and takes samples from other songs to implement into their own work. I think it works really well! The overall feel of this song is something that has this chillstep infused with a cool trance and dubstep sound which gives it this suave funk.
