Pierce Fulton and Galantis

Today I have some new music for you out of the world of EDM and electronic music. Today's first song is by Pierce Fulton. Honestly, I think he is an underrated artist. Pierce Fulton knows how to produce music that will rile up the crowd. There is always this insane amount of energy and sound that you can't help but jump and move and at least head bang some. This song is an explosion of sound and color. Now I know it is strange to think of a song as having a color, but when you hear a song and imagine, there is always a color that comes to mind. And with this song, there is this beautiful display of color from all ends of the spectrum. This song is just so lively and energetic and wild! I like that wildness because it is that of a world that is truly alive and truly living. Pierce Fulton does an amazing job of keeping the energy level at one that can be sustained and toned down when necessary. This song features vocals by the artist Polina. I didn't think she really did any music like this, but I am really glad to see that she does. It suits her voice and believe it or not, I can definitely see her doing more songs like this. She has a rich and deep voice with a slight accent which is something that seems to work insanely well with electronic music. Pierce Fulton is an incredible producer and DJ, and despite the fact that few know hi, I know that his music will start to climb the charts. Today's instrumental song is a new one by the artist Ansolo, or as most people know him, Ansel Elgort. There are a few artists who cross between the music and artist industries, and even fewer who are successful in both areas. Ansel Elgort is one of those few. He is of course known for his wonderful acting in some of the biggest blockbusters of the year, but is now starting to get a lot of recognition as an up and coming success artist in the world of electronic music. This weekend was Ultra Music Festival in Miami, and Ansolo was on the main stage. After only a year, Ansolo has made it so big and I am incredibly stoked to see how he has taken off. There is something so great about having such versatility in a number of different areas, and the fact that Ansolo is a big enough act to be on the main stage tells me that he is quite the impressive one. This song is a remix of a song by Galantis, one that is slowly starting to gain more recognition. Everything about this remix works really well. The opening has the standard Ansolo sound, one that is heavy on the percussion side of electronic music. It is a little bit harder to put into words, but there is just this sound that is so particular to Ansolo, and we hear that at the beginning. But then we get to the meatier part of the song, and that is when we hear the Galantis part of the song. The seamless weaving of the two artists is really quite spectacular. The drop to this song is also one of the sickest things ever. There is no lax in the energy level of this song after the chorus. The drop is an explosion of energy and sound and is just the greatest thing ever. It is one of those songs where all you want to do is jump up and down and have a wicked good time. The latter half of the song definitely has more synth and programmed keyboard work to give it that fuller and richer sound. And then the song ends again with that Ansolo sound. All in all, one of Ansolo's best remixes! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
