Tiesto and Hardwell
Today I have some incredible music for you off one of the albums that might be one of my favorites of the year. Tiesto dropped his new album recently and it is so damn good! This is consistent with Tiesto's usual vocal style but it also has a more prominent electronic feel to it. The vocals used in this song belong to the lead singer of American Authors. This is one of the things I love most about Tiesto. Not only does he know how to produce good music, but he knows how to do so with the best vocals. He spans across all genres and brings them all together with his electronic music. The melodies of the chorus are so inspirational sounding and have this uplifting and fun feel to it. When I listen to this song I imagine myself with friends doing some cheeky things at night and just having the best time of our lives. This song evokes those feeling of pure elation. Tiesto builds up to the perfect climax, but he also uses the entire song as a build up. The beginning has a slower piano melody, and then the vocals are layered in, the drum beat, guitar, and finally the extra synth. The middle of the song harnesses the most energy and finally comes back down to a calm ending. The way Tiesto uses the entirety of the song as a build up and climax is just brilliant. Today's instrumental song is off another highly anticipated album. Hardwell finally dropped his new album and words cannot contain my excitement and awe at his new music. Every song is on point and the level of deep house is so great. Every drop across the album is so perfectly placed and the climaxes accentuate the drops and bass. This song in particular has a sick drop at the beginning and segues into a beat that is so phenomenal and energetic. I was dancing so hard in my car when listening to this song and I couldn't help myself! Everything about this song is just so perfect. The overlaying synth after the first drop gives this song a house and a trance feel which is always freaking awesome. This song sounds so wicked and intense and is simply a masterpiece to go along with the rest of the masterful album. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
