For today's song, I chose a very interesting sound. Breathe Carolina's sound is like electronic crunk met rock and collaborated. I love this song because the beat is bumping and makes feel like I can do fun, crazy, and a some reckless things. I love working out to this song also-it keeps me going even when I am feeling sore. Today's instrumental song is some electronica/house music. I heard this song a few days ago and I thought this would be perfect to put on. Pryda made a really catchy and exciting song! Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Willie Nelson and The Assassination of Jesse James

Today I have a cover of an incredibly famous song by another extremely famous artist. Willie Nelson has done a very beautiful rendition of one of Coldplay's best songs. This song was done for the movie The Judge, and it fits splendidly with the entire mood and tone and essence of the movie. What I love about this cover is that it sounds absolutely nothing like the original song. Willie Nelson is able to convey that same sentiment in a way that is completely different from the way the original song was done. This version has more of a country tone to it, but there is something more folk to this song. I think that is what makes this song so beautiful. The fact that is folk and has that warmth of perceived 1800s ranch homes. It has that warmth that comes with summer nights in the prairie, that beauty of the wide open space. Splitter and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Today I have some music for you that is so refreshing because it is just some good old rock and roll. This song is by a band called Splitter, a name that I would automatically think would suit a  more metal sound. But this song is what I think the Beatles would sound like if they had a little heavier rock. And I love it! This song has a lot of the older rock elements that have become classic, but the lyrics and style of guitar playing is very modern. That combination is pretty damn swell when we hear it in a song like this. I mean you take the guitar solo that is thrown in the middle, and that just screams rock and roll. And then of course we have the vocals which remind me so much of Paul McCartney. This is definitely what a modern day Beatles would sound like, and there is nothing wrong with that!
