For today's song, I chose something from Florence and the Machine. Someone asked me who Florence and the Machine was the other day, which, to be quite honest, was a little depressing. Now I know most of you  know "Dog Days," but guess what, she has so many more amazing songs!! I saw her live on Sunday night and I have to say that the studio versions do no justice to her voice. Her voice is so powerful and beautiful  If I were you , I would go check out her other masterpieces because you will fall in love! Today;s instrumental piece has a similar tonality,  but still has a different tune and sound to it. Many of you may have heard this song as it comes from the soundtrack of Requiem For A Dream. This soundtrack is really amazing as is the movie, and creates an intense and suspenseful mood. Let me know what you all think!

Today I have music for you by the DJ known as Felix Cartal. I love the way this song sounds because it has a really good beat and the hook melody is extremely catchy. The drops are on point and the rhythm is one that you can have fun with, dancing or just kind of going crazy. I think these vocals are actually perfect for this song and I love how there is a point when they throw the beat down on a piano. I absolutely love the buildups in this song. They are long enough to create intensity but too long to where you get bored of it. This is a very well put together song in my opinion. Today's instrumental song is by the talented Wolfgang Gartner. This song is pretty interesting because it has a pretty intense feel to it. Today's song is from Europe, more specifically, Italy! It is quite interesting because pretty much everyone I talk to are oblivious to Italian music, so I thought this was the best place to put it up! DJ Provenzano created a really catchy tune with this song. This song is pretty awesome because it has a really cool mix of electronic music and the violin. Not going to lie, if you translate the song, you will notice that the song has a really good meaning...or maybe that is me misinterpreting...But anyway, this song has a consistent bass beat and has a really catchy tune, and I really like when it goes into violin mode. DJ Provenzano also provides the voice to this song and I think the vocals are really awesome for this song. Willie Nelson and The Assassination of Jesse James

Today I have a cover of an incredibly famous song by another extremely famous artist. Willie Nelson has done a very beautiful rendition of one of Coldplay's best songs. This song was done for the movie The Judge, and it fits splendidly with the entire mood and tone and essence of the movie. What I love about this cover is that it sounds absolutely nothing like the original song. Willie Nelson is able to convey that same sentiment in a way that is completely different from the way the original song was done. This version has more of a country tone to it, but there is something more folk to this song. I think that is what makes this song so beautiful. The fact that is folk and has that warmth of perceived 1800s ranch homes. It has that warmth that comes with summer nights in the prairie, that beauty of the wide open space.
