Today I have music for you by one of the most incredibly talented artists of recent years and our generation. Florence and the Machine is a group that has so much to offer. Florence Welch has one of the most unique and fantastic voices I have ever heard. She is an absolute powerhouse, with the ability to belt out those high notes and fill them with so much strength and sound. And then we have songs like this where we get to hear more of her softer side. We get to hear more of her emotional side and vulnerability because she held back. Florence Welch is also quite an artist in all sense of the term. Not only is the music production itself phenomenal, but the depth of her songs can sometime overwhelm me. She is a true artist in the sense that her creativity and artistic nature is not limited to just her music. Florence Welch becomes a poet when penning her lyrics. She becomes a filmmaker and director when she decides to make a music video. She becomes an actress while filming her videos....

Today's song is by English grime rapper Wiley. This is the first song I heard by him, and I absolutely loved it! The rapping has a fantastic beat with a very Caribbean/Latin American sound to it. I have to say, he reminds me of Sean Paul! This is the kind of song that is meant to be energetic and fun rather than deep and meaningful. I won't lie, the lyrics are a little sparse in terms of actually being deep and thought provoking. However, this is the kind of song you would want to hear when you are at a pool party or hanging out on the beach or doing something totally fun and wild. It has that infectious osund and rhythm that makes you want to move and dance along to it. While I can't say anything else in terms of what this song makes you feel, I can tell you that this would be a great song to add to your summer playlist. Today's song is a really good dance tune/hardcore jamming song. This is a collaboration done by two very talented artists, Nicky Romero and Krewella. There aren't any songs by these two artists that I dislike which is so freaking awesome! The drops are awesome and the throbbing bass is phenomenal. This song has sick written all over it, especially with the meshed sounds and vibes that make these two artists so different. Today's instrumental song is by the craziest DJ out there, Steve Aoki. Today I have some more new music for you by a band out of Los Angeles by the name Saint Motel. This is a band that really likes to play with different sounds and has produced music across the entire rock spectrum. While these guys do tend to focus more on indie music, they have been known to throw down some wicked awesome alternative music. This song is one of those sick mixes of indie pop and alternative rock and a beautiful dash of old timey music. This song is one of the greatest sounds I have heard in a while. There is so much energy in this song, from the first note we hear to the last. This sound and style of music is so unique to what we hear a lot nowadays. This is the kind of music that splurges in old timey influences and loves to dive into mixing the older and more retro sounds with the newer and bolder kind of sounds. Today I have some music for you by a band that has just hit the big scene. Years and Years' latest single has become and absolute hit! This song is one that I can understand being at the top of charts. This song has a perfect blend of the up and coming electronic sound we all love, while also featuring a bit of the pop sound that everyone really seems to enjoy. This is a song that is filled with so much incredible energy and just a great and happy vibe overall. This is a song that has such a great melody, and a sound that is just so much fun. Today's song is by the band Parade of Lights. This is one of those cool and weird psychedelic rock songs that are kind of rare. This is rare because its actually good and balances out the two types of sounds. It has this mellower feel but can make you feel really great which is also pretty darn spectacular. I am actually more excited about today's instrumental song. It is by FAUD and features Wad Ad. It is just so strange and so awesome at the same time. This song gives psychedelia a new meaning because this is like nothing you have probably heard. It is also a pretty energetic and bounding song, but there is this awesome trumpet going on with synth work. Its just a damn cool and awesome song. Today I have new music off the sophomore album released by Zedd. I have to be completely honest, while this album has quite a bit of EDM to it, there are a lot of other influences reflected in this album. And I absolutely love that! With this album, Zedd has defined himself as something other than Zedd, the EDM DJ. He has been able to define himself as Zedd, the musician and artist. In these songs, Zedd takes part in playing the piano and drums, while also serving as the producer. This album is a testament to Zedd's skill in the music world and I think it is something that should be acknowledged. It isn't easy to have to take on all of the roles, and to do them well. But Zedd makes it look and sound so easy, so smooth, and addicting. This song opens up with a beautiful piano verse, played by Zedd himself.
