Baar Baar Dekho and iHeartMemphis

Today I have some Bollywood music heading your way! It has been a while since I last posted anything from the world of Bollywood and Hindi music, and since I have had this song stuck in my head for quite some time, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to do some blogging on it! So this song is from a movie that recently came out, and is one of those songs that has weirdly caught on in terms of dance moves and popularity. In the Western world, we have songs that teach us how to dougie and how to hit the quan, but in India, this is the kind of dance anthem we get. What I love about Bollywood is that there is no one song that takes the prize for teaching dance moves. People tend to pick and choose the coolest moves form a variety of songs and then bring them all together to create something wickedly sick. This song is not one that is super high impact and energy, but is something that is more laid back. I wouldn't describe this song as being "chill" or calm, but there is a weirdly fun energy to the song. This is a song that I can definitely tell will become a huge hit in the Bollywood scene. For me, this was a song that got more fun and hyped yup as I continued to listen to it. At first I was not incredibly impressed, but there is so much more fun o this song than you may initially realize. That is why I hope you all take the time to listen to this more than once because it really is an addictive song. As much as people may try to ignore the song or let it be, you cannot deny the contagious liveliness that comes with this song. I will say though, this song was not composed by one of the more popular Bollywood dance artists. But this is also not a very underground song since it is like the main "single" of the song. So that interesting dynamic has been a great way to promote both the artist and the film that the song belongs to. This song is more along the lines of being an electronic and pop hit, one that likes to take the dated value of auto tune and turn it into something that we can actually stand to listen to. The dance vibe to the song is infectious as always, and the Bollywood ambiance is something that is so hard to fight. The colors and images and outfits and dance moves all come together to create a colorful and vivid masterpiece. Today's instrumental song is from the popular dance, The Quan. This is definitely a song and dance trend that seems to have taken over for a while. Each song like this has a phase, but this actually made a little bit of a dent in the global popularity of dances. I will say, the overall sound quality of the song is not the best. This is not a song I would say has a lot of emotional, mental, or philosophical value. This is a mere piece composed for entertainment. But entertain it does. And for that I must give credit. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
