The Backstreet Boys and Downton Abbey

Today I have some music for you that is not necessarily underground or lesser known, but rather, a tribute to a song that has been part of my life for 17 years. The Backstreet Boys used to be the biggest boy band in the world in the late 90s and early 2000s. This song has got to be their most popular song, the one that everyone knows and can sing along to. I know that this is one of the first songs by the Backstreet Boys that I ever heard, and I have learned pretty much all of the lyrics and harmonies. Believe it or not, this song celebrated its 17th year since release, and it is so incredible to think of that. Can you imagine, after 17 years, being part of a song that remains so popular even today? Now when it comes to boy bands, this is one of the bands that all the others were molded after. The Backstreet Boys had everything - the good moves, good looks, and good voices. The whole package! And that obviously made them such heartthrobs. This song is one that spoke to generations, and was weirdly very complex. This song revolves a lot of complicated issues of the emotional level, and somehow, that reminds us of how human the Backstreet Boys are. They call to human emotion and show us that they are capable of being one of us, that they have heartbreaks and trouble in paradise as much as the rest of us. This is such an impassioned song from all of the singers. You can tell that they sing so well in unison together, but they each bring a very interesting interpretation of themselves. That is what makes this band so charismatic and full of chemistry. The different styles all sing to each other and the songs are inviting towards other sentiments. The Backstreet Boys did such a fantastic job with this song, and made it one of the best pop melodies of the century. Today's instrumental song is from the score of the popular British tv show, Downton abbey. This show is such a famous show, one that is known for acting and plot rather than CGI and Special effects. And they do a fantastic job with it because this show has got me really emotional. But that's it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
