Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Hank & Asha

Today I have some really great music for you from some phenomenal movies. This first song comes from the movie Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. This movie was an absolutely beautiful movie for many reasons. First of all, the entire movie is all about the human experience, and what it means to be a human. The movie starts out with the day to day job that most of us have. It begins with the story of a man and woman who work office jobs, behind a desk, only to come home to a lonely existence. But as the movie progresses, the characters evolve, learning more about themselves and learning that there is so much to offer the world and that there is even more to receive. Even when things go wrong, or the unexpected arises, we have to look forward and keep our spirits high. Because at the end of the day, there is nothing more spectacular and wonderful than our own ability to believe. This is where the song of the day comes in. This song is the most perfect auditory description of this feeling. It is such an apt and charming and magical way to summarize the movie, in just 4 minutes. I mean how incredible is that! That music can capture the sentiment of something so moving and complex and simply put, enchantingly beautiful, like a modern day fairy tale. So this song is by a band called The Young Romans. Quite the name for a band that sings about the wonders of adventure and finding yourself. But from the first guitar note we hear, that first sound wave, you can already feel the magic within the strings. You can feel the pulse of the song, the way it sometimes seems to sync up with your own heartbeat. You can hear the fairies dance their way along the piano keys as the guitar serenades us in the background. And then we get to hear the soft and sweet vocals. The vocals that sing passion and gentleness and romance and happiness. This song is full of those emotions that send you on top of the world. It sings of love and contentment and brightness and sunshine. It reminds us of those times that we think about and can never hide the smile that makes it way from one ear to the other. This is a song that makes me want to get caught in the sunshine, with the wind blowing through my hair while I really feel what it is like to be alive. This song is what being alive feels like. It gives us that sense of beauty that only experience and feeling can provide, and I love The Young Romans for that. Many have tried, but few have been able to make me feel that vivacity and wonder quite like The Young Romans have. I know that this movie is unconventional. And I know that most people either want an action packed film, or one that has some kind of heist or thriller nature to it. But this is a film that speaks directly to the soul. This is the kind of movie that speaks to all kinds of people, no matter what your profession, family status, or personality. There is at least one character that will speak to you, show you what it is like to go through some of the transformations that the characters go through. And that is perhaps the most moving part of all. This is not a movie about bringing fishing to a country. This is a movie about the change that people go through, a movie about how events in our lives can change how we see the world. And that change, well, that is something that makes us who we are, what separates us from the rest. Today's instrumental song comes from the movie Hank and Asha. This movie was one that was not only sweet and cute, but also very uniquely done. Every shot, every frame, is taken from the perspective of a personal camera. The entire movie is a series of video messages that get sent back and forth. And what is great, is that we get to see how distance between two people doesn't really make them far apart. We watch as the two slowly fall in love with each other, as they learn to see the world that the other lives in. This movie was a very well done film, and unlike anything I have ever seen before. I won't lie, I did not like the way the film ended, mainly because I was hoping for a Bollywood kind of ending. But at the same time, this ending was one that is realistic, one that reflects what could really happen in real life. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack for this movie as well. I won't lie, a lot of the songs were really hard to find, and most of them cannot be found on YouTube. But, I did find some of them, and even thought this isn't an instrumental song, well sometimes we have to bend the rules a little bit. This song is by Brandon Wilde. This is a guitar heavy song, but nice and acoustic. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
