Justin Bieber and Thomas Jack

Today I have some new music for you. I totally have been slacking on the posting, I know. Let me tell you, it has been quite the roller coaster ride these past few days. But hey, I got some new music for you, and hopefully you will all enjoy! This song is actually the newest release by a very well known artist. Justin Bieber has been quite the topic of discussion for a lot of people for a lot of reasons. I mean look at his past history, and you may understand why he has been the victim of many a criticism. However, I have to say that in terms of music, I have heard nothing but progression. Justin Bieber has evolved from a pubescent teenage pop-singer, into an artist who has started to define his musical style. I can easily characterize Justin Bieber as an R&B artist with the flair for touching the EDM world. Which we get to hear in this song. He takes on an alternate route with this song, opting for something more chilled out rather than the standard bass boosted kind of sound. In fact, Justin Bieber takes a really nice spin on tropical house music. He is able to mold it and craft it into something that is very much his sound, but also completely fresh and new. I think this is part of his mission to reinvent himself as both a person and artist. Which does not seem like such a bad thing to me, considering how good this song is. We get a little of our Kygo fix, while also allowing this to have some more R&B feel to it. Justin Bieber did recently work with Jack U, which gave him the chance to create his mark and put his foot in the door for opening up to the EDM world. And to be quite honest, if Justin Bieber is able to keep this up, I think it could be a great path of evolution for his music and sound. Today's instrumental song is by a lesser known tropical house artist by the name Thomas Jack. I really like his sound because he is able to give us that nice tropical sound without making it sound like every Kygo song out there. For a lot of artists, that specific style is how they validate their tropical house sound. But Thomas Jack does twist it and comes up with his own version of tropical house which I thoroughly enjoy. I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
