Adventure Club and Truth

Today I have music for you by Adventure Club. I actually love Adventure Club. They are definitely a lesser known electronic duo which is kind of saddening, but it also gives me the opportunity to spread their awesomeness to you all! The thing about Adventure Club is that every song sounds totally different. A lot of time with electronic artists, you get really good songs, but you also get songs that sound the same when you play them against each other. But with Adventure Club, you can't do that kind of comparison because each song is so uniquely different compared to the rest. I love that though! I think that variability gives the duo a chance to produce the music they want with no limitations of boundaries. They don't have a formula that they follow, and produce what feels and sounds good to them. And that is why I love pretty much every song by them. I think one of the characteristics that really stands out to me with Adventure Club is that they like to use higher pitched vocals. Even with the male singers, they tend to lean towards more R&B and soulful sounds. But in comparison to the beats we get with the song, I think the higher vocals add a ice juxtaposition. Because when we get to the musicality of the song, we get something pretty dope. Adventure Club tends to favor a dubstep kind of flair to their music, but then there is also something about their music that makes it have a different kind of feeling. I mean the most common style of dubstep is what we hear from Skrillex and the like, but this duo sounds so completely different, something that separates them from the pack. I know they credit a lot of it to the fact that they use sound systems and programs unlike most artists out there, which makes sense. But I also think it is the way they compose their music. The program gives the imagination a voice, but those ideas had to come from somewhere! This song is one of those that has an intense dubstep sound, but also that cinematic kind of feel to it. It has that hopeful and inspirational kind of feeling to the undertone and I love that. Music like this is like food for the soul, and I would not change a thing about this song. Today's instrumental song is by Truth. Now I am going to be completely honest, I have not heard much by them, but I had to share this song. I don't know if I like it or not to be quite frank. It is weird and different and unlike anything I have ever heard, which is always a bonus. But I don't know if it is a little too out there. But at the same time, I do enjoy the dubstep we get to hear so there we go! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
