Bipolar Sunshine and Game Of Thrones

Today I have music for you by the artist known as Bipolar Sunshine. This is a one man project, and I have to say, he is quite impressive. This is my favorite song by Bipolar Sunshine for a few reasons. First of all, the overall musicality of this song is absolutely brilliant. The actual instrumentation is quite simple in this song, relying more on percussion and some keyboards and synth work. There is a little bit guitar, but only to increase the energy and make the song feel like it is slightly speeding up. But that is basically all that Bipolar Sunshine uses to support the song. Even though it is simple, it still has the ability to be both a melody and harmony at the same time. The music is a melody of its own, but also serves as a wonderful harmony support for the singing portions of the song. A lot of the other "musical" characteristics comes from the group singing sounds that Bipolar Sunshine has in this song. This song starts out slower and then builds and builds and builds until we get to end. The music in this song just goes to make this such a positive anthem for any time of the day. This is one of those songs that can actually raise your spirits and make you feel so damn good inside. There is this swell to the song that ends in this climactic refrain which just makes this such a fantastic song for the ears. It doesn't throw waves and waves of energy and bass at you, but rather eases you into something that clearly has some direction to move in. The lyrics in this song are also phenomenal. This other component of the song is kind of what catches your ear first. I think that may be because there is such simplicity in the instrumental parts of the song that your ear latches onto the bouts of the lyrics. Bipolar Sunshine has so much positive energy, happiness, and peace of mind in the way that these lyrics are written. There is an actual feeling of wanting to help people by having them listen to this music. He talks about the hardships that a lot of people go through, from teenage pregnancy to feeling depressed and alone. But then he does go to offer the world his shoulder to cry on and that just makes me feel so good. Bipolar Sunshine also sings very well and layers his voice so wonderfully. I kind of like the fact that his English accent makes it through the song. Bipolar Sunshine is definitely an artist that I am keeping track of because his music is something totally unique and wonderful. Today's instrumental song is from the incredible television show Game Of Thrones. Ramin Djawadi is a young composer, but one of the most brilliant composers of our time and of his age. This song has so many amazing things happening with it, but I love it. There is this overall buildup to something unbelievable and something inspirational and moving and riveting about this song. I love this soundtrack so much and for good reason! I hope you enjoy the music and please feel free to comment!
